Chest Club offers healthcare professionals a comprehensive knowledge base of practical information and resources focused on Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine to assist in making the right decisions for their patients.
This is a Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Medicine education and networking program organized by University of Florida, designed to bring novel and relevant sub-specialty advancements to North Florida. It is structured to promote medical education and to increase communications and solidarity between physicians from different institutes in the region. Chest Club welcomes healthcare professionals from different geographic locations, institutes, training levels, and specialty to join. This activity is fully accredited for CME by UF.
Our mission is to empower healthcare professionals with practice-focused and comprehensive clinical and drug information in the field of Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care, and Sleep that is reflective of current and emerging principles of care to help clinicians optimize patient outcomes.
Target Audience
This program is intended for pulmonary, critical care, sleep specialists, primary care physicians, related specialists including but not limited to rheumatologists, infectious disease specialists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, respiratory therapists, nutritionists, nurse practitioners and pulmonary, MICU and sleep nurses.
Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
1. Apply novel methodology to screen lung nodules
2. Examine clinical and radiological evidence to acute diagnostic approach to lung nodules
3. Describe probability of malignant lesions based on lung images
